Sustainable development goals

Stedin Group’s one planet strategy helps us to pinpoint our main areas of impact, which we can then actively address and where necessary offset. Stedin has also provided accountability for its contributions to the UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs). These goals were adopted by the United Nations in an effort to help countries and organisations around the world end poverty, inequality and climate change before 2030.

Stedin Group has a broad sphere of influence due to the scope of its business operations, services, products and procurement activities. A large portion of the UN sustainable development goals are thus relevant to some degree. However, we have opted to focus on the goals we impact most. Ultimately, the SDGs are aimed at spurring organisations and countries into action. Stedin’s sustainability strategy thus focuses on the areas where we can have maximum impact.
