Danny Benima is new CFO of Stedin Group

Rotterdam, 24 October 2018 – Stedin Group today announced that Danny Benima was appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and new board member as of 1 January 2019. At present, Benima is CFO Europe South at Arcadis. Over the past years he held several financial positions at Arcadis and Stork. 

Benima succeeds Gerard Vesseur who will retire during the course of 2019. Vesseur worked for Stedin and Eneco for 20 years.

The financing of our company, our activities and the affordability of a future-proof infrastructure are important themes. In order to contribute to the energy transition while also keeping our regular activities affordable for our customers we must invest wisely in the coming years. Danny Benima will provide the financial knowledge that will help us to achieve this.”

Board of directors
In his position as CFO Benima will be a member of the board of Stedin Group. The other members of the board are Marc van der Linden (CEO), Judith Koole (COO) and David Peters (CTO).
