Stedin Group successfully prices inaugural dual tranche Eurobond with a nominal amount of EUR 800 million
Rotterdam, October 17th, 2017 – Stedin Holding N.V. (“Stedin Group”) a leading Dutch electricity and gas network company – today announced the successful pricing of its EUR 800 million issue in the corporate bond market. This long-term financing replaces short-term indebtedness including the bridge loan related to the acquisition of DNWG/Enduris. The bonds will be listed on the regulated market of Euronext Amsterdam N.V.
“With the establishment of our EMTN programme, Stedin Group now has good access to the European debt capital markets, which provides a welcome alternative to our current and future financing mix” says Stedin Group’s CFO Gerard Vesseur
Prior to launch Stedin Group engaged with potential investors during a 3-day European roadshow, introducing over 50 accounts to the Stedin Group credit. The funding was raised in two tranches, a EUR 300 million Floating Rate note, with a maturity of five years and a EUR 500 million Fixed Rate note, with a maturity of eight years. Both tranches enjoyed a healthy oversubscription allowing for attractive pricing levels. Joint Bookrunners on the transaction were ABN AMRO, BNP Paribas, MUFG and Rabobank. The settlement date is October 24, 2017.
The issue price for the Floating Rate Notes is 100.30% with a Coupon of 3-month Euribor + 27 basis points (0% coupon floor), and the issue price for the Fixed Rate Notes is 99.854% with a Coupon of 0.875%, resulting in a yield of 0.894%.
